Blessings: Happy Father’s Day to all Dads out there–
Happy Father’s Day to my Dearest Daddy- thank you for teaching me and leading me to Christ, training me to live for Him and helping me see the adventure of serving God.
Happy Father’s Day to Grandpa Delavan- thank you for the wonderful times at the NY State Fair, on the farm canning syrup, and learning about life.
Happy Father’s Day to Papa Calhoun- thank you for your encouragement and help in college, the fun we have gardening and working on car and the house. Just being with people is important.
Happy Father’s Day to Duncan Johnson- my best brother-in-law. You are so patient with me, and such a help. This time next year you will be a Daddy. 🙂
Showers of Blessings: In my last post, I was really excited that the background check from Canada came in the mail within a weeks time from when I made the request. The morning after I emailed the immigration officer- she sent me an email letting me know I had the grant to be a temporary Australian Resident.
So since then, tickets have been reserved for June 27th. I should have two layovers and arrive in Sydney early Wednesday morning (for them, but for American time I’ll lose the 28th of June)
The pack rat in me is trying to break habits. 🙂 I’ve tossed a bunch of papers and stuff that has been in my stuff for too long. Now it’s the precious books that are having to be chosen… what little can I take… ?
It looks like I’ll need to leave my guitar behind because of baggage fees. I’m sad about that. Some good news is a vehicle is lined up for me to use within a few weeks of arriving.
The Lord’s timing is perfect, and again I’m not really sure why he had me go to Quebec, but I enjoyed my time with friends there.
I’m really thankful for those who’ve been praying, please continue to do so. Let me know how I can pray for you.
Love in Christ,
